This band should have been big. They were very talented. Also, another band that came a little later and was sharp as well, was Follow For Now.

This shit is so cringe inducing I don't know whether to laugh or puke.

Where are they now? Bring them back. New album? As a white teenager, I was glad to see rock music represented by black bands that weren’t just sampling a rock riff in a rap song (Run DMC, Walk This Way). I bought this album the same time I bought the Mazarati album, the band produced by Prince. Two great discoveries that did not disappoint.

Damn! I got goosebumps just to listen to this beautiful song which brought me back in 1990.

First time hearing this song and band. You can hear the Eddie Van Halen influence on that guitar solo! I love bands like this...Prince, Mint Condition, Living Colour.

Always thought it was funny how Living Colour got a chance and made it and these guys did not when they were just as good. Same goes for Dez Dickerson. I suppose that someone figured there was only room for one hard rock black band back in the 80s

I’m telling you, this is the 3rd exact time I have watched this video today. I watched it when I first got up this morning. Even though they released one album during their short career, Xavion remains the first ever black rock band and will continue to live on in our memories. As for Xavion themselves, on behalf of all your fans, I say thank you. Eat Your Heart Out, indeed.

This should have made Black Mirror's "San Junipero'" episode of 1987 tracks and featuring Gugu Mbatha-Raw. I wish I could revive Black Mirror and write for them. Rare as it is...I remember it and so many rare 80s tracks and keep them in my rotation. Someone mentioned "Night Tracks" back when they used to call TBS.... Super Station WTBS....we had so many good video program shows back then from BET's Video Soul, MTV, VH1, Top of the Pops. Today, there are special internet radio stations worldwide that cater to tracks of decades past.
